Variables:
Two sided lamination has several variables: trim, film,
thickness & film finish.
Trims:
Standard or Sealed - is a 1/8 inch film border around the entire
edge of the paper.
Flush - is where the film stops at the edge of the paper
Film Thickness:
1.5 mil - adds gloss and light protection to paper but
leaves it very flexile
3.0 mil - less rigid and thinner than a business card
5.0 mil - rigid and as thick as a playing card
10.0 mil - rigid and as thick as a credit card
Film Finish
Gloss - The most common, low cost film, with a clear shin finish
Satin Luster - A more expensive film with a low gloss sheen
finish
Matt Finish - A higher priced film with a glare free - low gloss
finish
